Geoff McClelland has finished his Butcher’s Block Chopping Board Trolley.
It is made from Oregon Timber and looks very professional.
It’s a pity someone will eventually cut something on it and spoil the beautiful finish.
Bob’s Folding Table
New member Bob Parrish’s creation of a folding table. This is a smaller version of similar tables that the Club has made in the past. Bob’s version is made from Cyprus Pine and finished with a clear lacquer. The table was made from specific plans that Bob obtaind and it’s sized to suit his requirements when camping. It is beautifully made and when not in use folds up so that it occupies a very small space.
Jerrys Bowl
A turned bowl made by member Jerry Runyard. Made of leftover merbau, originally purchased from Bunnings for a mantelpiece project. 3 layers of left over Merbau were glued to create the initial lathe block. Measuring 22cm dia and 9cm high, it has become a useful bowl for odds and ends. The bowl was turned using disposable tungsten carbide tipped chisels.
