Whale Watch

The Whale Watch cruise is a spring highlight for the club. This year’s cruise took place in October under clear blue skies, on “Imagine”, a state of the art 54ft sailing catamaran and under the captaincy of Frank Future, our club patron. Once out of the heads, we immediately saw a pod of whales with a juvenile and baby calf playing and breaching quite close to the shoreline. Frank’s humorous and informative commentary added to the overall enjoyment of the day. A great day out and lots of good memories..

Imagine Cruise

A summer highlight for club members and their families is the chance of a sunset cruise on the pristine waters of the Nelson Bay on board “Imagine”, a state of the art 54ft sailing catamaran, all within the largest and most scenic Marine Park in NSW and courtesy of club patron Frank Future. This year’s harbour cruise, in February, had a pirate theme. Club members also enjoy a generous discount on “Imagine’s” regular dolphin and whale watching cruises.
