Allen’s Bowls

Allen Beard was next with three bowls, two made from Silky Oak and the large one
from Camphor Laurel. The fruit in one of the bowls is an apple and a pear and these
are beautifully made, the apple even having the stem attached. The bowls are finished
with a sprayed lacquer and there are no rough surfaces when turning across the grain.
Allen, is still learning the craft of turning from the Woodturners of the Hunter (WOTH),
